About

As a child, I was fortunate that my Mom hired an art teacher who instructed me in fundamental drawing and painting skills. That led me on the path to being an art teacher. I am certified for grades 1-12 and taught art for over 25 years. While earning my Masters of Art in Teaching degree from Washington University, a graphics design class inspired my career as a lettering artist.

Now I flourish (pun intended) as a professional calligrapher! I have worked on all sorts of lettering projects for weddings, special events, and personal celebrations.  You can bring me your ideas for signs or personalized gifts and I will turn your vision into reality.  I hope the result will be even more beautiful than you imagined.

I am active in the Saint Louis Calligraphy Guilds, plus the International Association of Master Penmen (IAMPETH), and regularly attend workshops taught by outstanding calligraphers to expand my artistic horizon and skills.
